A saline infusion sonography (SIS) is a special ultrasound that helps a fertility doctor to assess the uterine abnormalities. Most importantly, this test helps determine fertility problems caused by the uterus and also used for tubal patency test. The scan uses a small amount of saline inserted into the uterus that allows the lining of the uterus to be clearly seen on an ultrasound scan.

Hysterosalpingography, or HSG, is an X-ray test to outline the internal shape of the uterus and show whether the fallopian tubes are blocked. It is used to examine the cavity of the uterus and Fallopian tubes by injecting a dye through a tube inserted through the vagina into the uterus. An HSG should be done after your period but before ovulation. This is to reduce the risk of having the test when you're pregnant.

Artificial I amion is a simple procedure to achieve fertilization and pregnancy in women. Also known as intrauterine Insemination (IUI), it is a procedure in which a fine catheter (tube) is inserted through the cervix into the uterus to deposit a processed sperm sample directly. It is done for the benefit of couples who are struggling with conceiving a baby or the women who are above 35 years of age or are prone to irregular periods.

In-VitroFertilization (IVF) is a process of fertilization where an egg is combined with sperm outside the body, in vitro. It is a type of assisted reproductive technology used for infertility treatment. This process of fertilization is recommended for those women or couples with repeated IUI failure, tubal factor infertility, Male factor infertility etc.
Success rate in IVF is 30-40%.

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is a test-tube fertilization procedure in which a sperm is injected directly into an egg to achieve fertilization. ICSI is done for male infertility & for women aged 40yrs & above. Embryo freezing is a procedure that allows people to store embryos for later use or donation. A person can also freeze eggs, which are not fertilized. An embryo forms after fertilization and after the cells start to divide. 

Semen cryopreservation, commonly called sperm banking or sperm freezing, is a procedure to preserve sperm cells. It  is the most successful method of preserving a man’s fertility so he can try and have a child(ren) at a later date or donate it.  Donated sperm usually has to be quarantined for three or six months and screened for infections before it can be used by a recipient.
